Dr Matt Sanicki
Dr. Sanicki received his doctorate degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Dr. Sanicki’s undergraduate work was completed at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med.
Dr. Sanicki continued his education by becoming a certified provider for Active Release Technique©. This soft tissue specialty is used to treat injuries related to acute trauma, chronic pain syndromes and repetitive trauma disorders. The doctor uses therapeutic exercise and kineseo-taping to maximize patient stabilization.
Dr. Sanicki is the treating chiropractor for the San Diego State University Ice Hockey team. Dr. Sanicki is helping the team with injury care and prevention as well as improving functional performance both on and off the ice. Dr. Sanicki first started treating hockey players back east with minor league affiliates for the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers. In 2005 the team he was with went on to win the Kelly Cup, which is the minor league version of the Stanley Cup.
Dr. Sanicki is dedicated to treating athletes from weekend warriors to elite athletes. He was an integral part of getting PGAtour golfer Jaco Van Zyl into top physical condition and onto the tour for the first time in 2007. Together with instructor Dean Reinmuth, Dr. Sanicki has concentrated on golf fitness and injury prevention for all golfers.

Dr. Kathryn Fox
“Offering Pro-Active Care for Your Active Life.”
Dr. Fox received her Doctorate degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science at Southwest Minnesota State University and her Master’s degree in Exercise Science at Western Illinois University. Prior to her doctorate degree, Dr. Fox worked as an exercise physiologist, certified sports enhancement specialist and women’s basketball and soccer coach.
As a chiropractor her clinical expertise includes structural and functional rehabilitation of the spine, athletic performance enhancement, posture therapy, pain management, nutritional supplementation.
Dr. Fox is the official team chiropractor for the SoCal Scorpions, San Diego’s Women’s Professional Football team. She is also an active member of the Greater San Diego Business Association.
Dr. Fox is excited to help you reach your health and fitness goals, whether it be taking your first step towards a healthier you to making your next race a “PR.” To be able to help people live life to its fullest is what she considers her greatest accomplishment.
Jessica Ryan
Jessica Ryan has worked as a physical therapist in San Diego for the past 10 years in hospital and private outpatient clinics. She has a broad range of experience working with chiropractors, acupuncturists, occupational therapists, and Pilates instructors. Jessica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from U.C.L.A. in 1994 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2000.
Jessica Ryan believes in treating the whole patient, identifying the cause of dysfunction, and giving each patient tools to improve their quality of life. Her treatments include soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, passive stretching, therapeutic exercise incorporating Yoga and Pilates, and nutritional education. Jessica is grateful for the opportunity to work in Point Loma where she grew up and is now raising a family with her husband.
Dr. Ian Ahearn
Dr. Ahearn received his doctorate at Logan College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While attending Logan he also received a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and his Master's in Sports Rehabilitation and Exercise. Dr. Ahearn attended the University of Illinois for his undergraduate where he completed his Bachelor's of Community Health.
Dr. Ahearn specializes in musculoskeletal sports injuries as he interned in the Biofreeze Rehabilitation Center in Chesterfield, Missouri. There he worked closely with multiple area sports teams including the Mizzou Tigers and the Missouri Baptist basketball team. He has also completed the first module in Graston technique and is class IV laser certified.
Dr. Ahearn uses a whole body functional assessment to correct biomechanical dysfunction through adjusting, stretching, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, and post-isometric relaxation.
